BANGALORE CITY TRAFFIC WARDEN ORGANISATION

The Bangalore City Traffic Warden Organisation came into existence during the year 1985.

The rules and regulations for Traffic Warden Organisation were framed in the year 1990 and the system of Recruitment, Training, Uniform etc. were streamlined.

The Traffic Warden Organisation helps the Traffic Police in Education, Enforcement and Engineering aspects.

TRAFFIC EDUCATION PROGRAMME BY THE TRAFFIC WARDEN ORGANISATION

The Traffic Warden organisation is conducting road safety awareness classes to the school children under the Head C.T.Y. (Catch Them Young). Under this scheme a group of traffic wardens will visit the schools and speak to the children about the basic Road Safety aspects such as crossing of roads, cycling, walking on roads, boarding of buses etc.
