Karnataka Government Secretariat,
NOTIFICATION Whereas, the Government of Karnataka, in notification No.HD 107 TMA 2000, dated: 06.06.2006 have issued directions to the State Transport Authority, under sub section(1) of Section 67of motor Vehicle Act, 1988( Central Act 59 of 1988), regarding fixing of fares and freights for the motor cabs operated from the Bangalore Airport to the various location/places specified therien. And whereas the Government of Karnataka having considered it necessary to issue directions to the State Transport Authority to revise the fares and freights of motor cabs operated from Bangalore Airport in view of increase in prices of petrol, diesel, gas etc., Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (i) of section 67 of Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) and in super session of the directions issued earlier in this behalf in so far as they relate to the fares & freights of pre-paid motor cabs operated from the Bangalore Airport, the Government of Karnataka hereby issue the following directions to the State Transport Authority, namely; DIRECTIONS The State Transport Authority, is hereby directed to fix with the immediate effect the following maximum rates of fares and freights specified in column(5) for the motor cabs operated from the Bangalore Airport to the corresponding places specified in column (2) thereof:- The distance from Bangalore Airport to different places in Bangalore City in Kilometres and rate of fares for the motor cabs operating from Bangalore Airport. |

50cms x 70 cms. Note :- Between 10.00 pm and 5.00 am or beyond the Corportation limits of Bangalore City fares shall not be more than one and a half times of the above fares.
